Edie Falco guest stars on 30 Rock tomorrow night (November 14th) in the first of her 3 episode arc on the popular show. This is her first guest starring stint since the completion of The Sopranos earlier this year. She plays a congresswoman, C.C., who is a love interest for Hack (Alec Baldwin) who don’t quite see eye-to-eye on just about everything.

When 30 Rock returns for its season opener on October 4, Jerry Seinfeld will be guest starring in the episode. He will play a rival who headbutts with Jack Donaghy, played by Alec Baldwin.

“I was thrilled to be asked to guest star on NBC’s hit comedy ‘30 Rock,’ ” Seinfeld said. “I think it’s going to be so refreshing for me to be playing myself in a show that has nothing to do with neurotic, dysfunctional New York characters.”

You definitely have to wonder if he is considering a comeback to sitcoms, and this definitely would lead people to think that he’d be considering an NBC return. But who knows, his appearance could simply be a favor to someone.

When 30 Rock returns from its hiatus early on April 5th, both Maury Povich and Alec Baldwin will be appearing in guest starring roles on the popular show. And what’s more, they will be appearing in flashbacks!

I really love Maury… I mean, who can get tired of those great “I slept with both my brother-in-laws and my best friends boyfriend, and I don’t know if my hubby is my baby’s daddy” DNA reveal episodes. This should be a great episode, not to mention getting to see it a whole two weeks early!

If you have been suffering from withdrawl symptoms because 30 Rock was sent to hiatus until April 19th, you will be happy. NBC has changed the return date of 30 Rock to April 5th. And wait until you hear the guest stars on the first episode after the hiatus… stay tuned.

In a somewhat surprising move, NBC has pulled 30 Rock from their schedule. The show, which has been doing fairly well in the ratings although not the runaway hit NBC was hoping, has had a ton of fan support for it, but it didn’t seem to be quite enough to ensure the safety of the show.

The good thing is that its hiatus is not permanent, which seems to happen with so many shows these days, and fans will be able to mark the date of the show’s return. 30 Rock has a return date already scheduled for April 19th, when it will begin airing the final run of episodes for the season.

You know, you have to admire a guy with such {ahem} staying power after his little incident in the adult movie theatre. But Paul Reubens has sustained himself (although definitely as a C-lister!) since then with his Pee Wee Herman empire. But now comes word he will be appearing on an episode of 30 Rock, titled “Black Tie”. He apparently won’t even be recognizable to fans (or is the term fans being generous ) according to Kristen from E!Online.
